About Maine PLT

Maine Project Learning Tree, a program of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, and housed within Maine TREE, is an award-winning environmental education program and curriculum designed for teachers, informal educators, parents, and community leaders.
We offer in-person, custom, and standards-based workshops which include:
- Elementary and Middle School Guide
- Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood
- High School Supplements
On-line offerings are also available:
- Environmental Education for Kindergarten to Grade 8
- Treemendous Science! for Grades K-2
- Energy In Ecosystems for Grades 3-5
- Carbon & Climate for Grades 6-8
- Early Childhood
