If you are interested in learning more about this guide, or even trying the personality quiz with your students during Earth Month in April, please reach out to us at maineplt@mainetree.org

For now, please see two unique opportunities for recent or soon-to-be high school graduates to learn about specific careers in engineering or timber harvesting.
Consider Engineering, hosted by the UMaine Pulp and Paper Foundation at the Orono campus, is a free weeklong program to support high school students exploring careers in engineering.

The Mechanized Logging Operations Program, delivered by the Professional Logging Contractors of Maine, is a 12-week program to prepare students for a career in the field of logging and timber harvesting in Maine.
